I own the physical version of this book, and I have met Brett McLeod as he taught at Paul Smith's when my brother attended. Brett's coverage of different types of axes, their uses, their historical, cultural, and personal significance, and the great amount of photos included in this book make it a winner for any axe nut, lumber jack or lumber jill, whether collegiate, professional or even just former. His wisdom of unique níche axes like "The Sleeper Axe", "Chainsaw Axe", and other unique and even quirky designs, make the book and interesting and genuinely fun read. Would highly recommend for any wood worker, hunter, or outdoor enthusiast.
