À propos de cet e-book

Killer turned reluctant hero Boricio Wolfe figures he must be damned. Why else would he wake up on a post-apocalyptic alternate Earth, trapped by an explosive collar and imprisoned by the worst person in the world—another version of himself?

The Wolf is another version of Boricio. Same face. Same talent for violence. Every trace of conscience replaced by the certainty that cruelty makes good government. And he’s fascinated by this damaged double who still believes he can become a better man.

Fitted with an explosive collar and forced to cook the Wolf’s meals, Boricio finds himself serving dinner to everything he’s afraid he could become. His captor wants to break him, and every person Boricio tries to protect gives the Wolf another way to do it.

A desperate resistance believes Boricio can kill the tyrant. He has the experience, the appetite, and daily access to the kitchen knives. But the prisoners’ collars are linked to the Wolf’s heartbeat. Killing him could slaughter the people Boricio wants to save.

For once, murder is the easy part of the plan. Getting anyone out alive will require the kind of man Boricio isn’t sure he knows how to be.

The kings of the serial are back! Sean Platt and David W. Wright return to the world of Yesterday’s Gone with Boricio’s Gone: Season One, a six-episode tale of brutal horror, vicious humor, and a killer’s increasingly inconvenient conscience.

(All six episodes are in Season One. Season Two arrives in 2027.)

À propos de l'auteur

Sean Platt has always been an entrepreneur, but stories were the business he was born to build.

When his wife bought him a laptop for his birthday in 2007, he dropped everything to write fiction.

After a short stint as creative director at a marketing agency — where he learned the kind of copywriting that could turn cliffhangers into an art — Sean wrote hundreds of novels (including international bestsellers), penned Hollywood scripts, and founded Sterling & Stone, an IP incubator where more than two dozen writers turn wild ideas into world-changing stories.

Originally from Long Beach, California, Sean now lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife, Cindy, and their dog, Fisher — both of whom remind him that real life makes the best stories.

David W. Wright is the co-author of edge-of-your-seat thrillers including the best-selling post-apocalyptic series Yesterday’s Gone, the paranoid sci-fi WhiteSpace series, and the vigilante series, No Justice, as well as standalone thrillers 12, and Crash which was recently optioned for a movie.

David is an accomplished, though intermittent, cartoonist who lives in [LOCATION REDACTED] with his wife and son [NAMES REDACTED.]

He is not at all paranoid.

He is “the grumpy one” on the Story Studio Podcast with fellow Sterling and Stone founders, Sean Platt and Johnny B. Truant.

David writes about books, TV shows, movies, and video games he enjoys; his struggles with anxiety and OCD; writing; and posts the occasional drawing at his personal blog at davidwwright.com
