At Madame Chambon’s exclusive Mayfair establishment, fallen women are not merely desired—they are trained, protected, and bound by dangerous bargains that can cost them everything… or set them free.
Each novel in The Fair Cyprians of London follows a courageous heroine fighting to reclaim her future in a society eager to judge and discard her. From revenge and redemption to unexpected passion and Christmas miracles, these richly emotional romances deliver intrigue, sensuality, and hard-won happily-ever-afters.
🔥 Perfect for readers who love Victorian settings, forbidden romance, strong heroines, and stories where love defies society’s rules.
Beverley Oakley is an Australian author of more than 35 Victorian and Georgian-set Gothic romances laced with mystery and intrigue, and Regency Rom-coms.
Under her other pen names—Beverley Eikli and B.G. Nettelton—she writes Africa-set romantic suspense and Women’s Fiction.
Born in the African mountain kingdom of Lesotho, Beverley married the dashing Norwegian bush pilot she met in Botswana’s beautiful Okavango Delta while managing a safari lodge.
She began her writing career as a journalist, but it was during long aerial survey contracts around the world—often as the sole woman among the crew—that she began to write romance novels, finding in them an escape from the isolation.
Beverley lives just north of Melbourne with the same wonderful husband she whisked away from Botswana thirty years ago, together with their youngest daughter (the oldest lives in Norway), and a gorgeous, dopey Rhodesian Ridgeback who weighs more than she does.
When she’s not writing, she runs a Wuthering Heights Bed & Breakfast & Farmstay in South Australia’s beautiful wine growing Clare Valley with her two sisters, and teaches Writing.
