Hexed to only assume his mer-form on the three nights of the triple full moons, his life has changed irrevocably. When a mermaid breaks his solitude, he clings to his affliction afraid to seize the hope she harbors.

If you love mermaids/mermen, other sea folk and black magic this book will thrill you. It is a very well written story and the action is non-stop. Kaycee and Xander are thrown together and together they will stay if Kaycee has her way. She only has to break a spell cast over one hundred years ago? Oh is that all. This story is sweet, romantic and the banter between these two is hilarious at times.

Cursed Seas by Beth Caudill is the best mermaid story I have ever read. The world building in this story is so well described that I could picture the different places in full color in my mind. The main character of the story is mermaid princess named Kaycee Seirus who is portrayed as a strong female character. I loved that she is very sure of herself, headstrong, adventurous, and unwilling to bend to those she feels are attempting to force her to be something she is not. Kaycee’s attitude and willingness to do the right thing no matter the cost made me like reading the story that shows her intense focus on solving any problem. I recommend this book for anyone looking to read a wonderfully unique paranormal mermaid princess love story.
