Where do I belong? The story of singer Jason Schachter McKinney addresses just that question. As a youngster, Jason proud of his heritage. He was popular at his Jewish day school until the whispers began. "He is black. Is he really Jewish?" He no longer felt like he belonged. He embraced his Black culture and went on to success as a soloist and composer. His life eventually came full circle when he went into a synagogue after many years and now he embraces both backgrounds.
