About this ebook
Ophelia Banner feels trapped by the deal she made. With rumors an old friend could still be alive, her agreement to track down and transport four missing dragons drags like an eternity. And she’s terrified that bonding with Elias may sever her sensing abilities and leave a loyal companion chained in their enemy’s lair.
Elias Kraus doesn’t know how much longer he can put off the inevitable. Supporting Ophelia’s new leadership role is one thing, but he suspects her unyielding connection to another man is placing them all in danger. And with her suffering unexplainable blackouts and her powers malfunctioning, he fears if they don’t bond soon, all will be lost.
As Ophelia resists her pull into Elias’s arms, her magic spirals out of control and threatens the safety of her allies. And after one of his agents vanishes, Elias’ mission to uncover the traitor among them may be racing to a fatal finale.
Can Ophelia and Elias ride the troubled waters of duplicity and end the conflict forever?
