A Demon's Cocktail With Sambuca: A Sapphic Cozy Fantasy Romance

This was a fun read. It follows demon Sylvie and angel Theresa as they strike up a competition and fall in love in the process. I liked seeing these two fall in love, but would've liked to see a bit more after they get together. I liked the unique take on demons and angels with how they harvested sin and virtues and how they could consume these on their own or in food and drinks. The food and drink descriptions were fun to read. I look forward to the next one!

Some things can surprise you. This story turned out very well. At first it was a little slow. It got better the longer the story went. I enjoyed this one. I liked the restaurant, what a novel idea.

This entertaining novel is based on the idea of demons and angels living in the human world undetected. The demons feed off the sins in the humans aura, and the angels feed off the virtues in the aura. To obtain these sins/virtues the demons/angels can suggest but not encourage the behaviour of humans. Each demon or angel usually only eats a single sin or virtue. The book focuses on the angel Teresa and the demon Sylvie. The two become friends and after some competition between the two, they get closer and try living in each other's world. This book also introduces the Forked Tail restaurant and it's owners which is the the theme of the new series of books.
