I enjoy discipline as much as the next erotic reader but I absolutely detest arrogance and humiliation. I know a lot of this was because of the time period but I found virtually nothing redeeming in the Duke. Oh, and I did not find the ending satisfying at all. If the princess agrees to the marriage, she's agreeing to continual punishment without any "feel good moments" in return and if she doesn't agree, she will appear to not have learned anything. That being said, I will purchase the "Wedding Night" and hopefully the Duke will show at least one or two redeeming qualities.
