Examining these textiles allows us to understand aspects of ancient life, often overlooked, such as the sophistication of indigenous communities and their impact on local ecosystems. The book demonstrates that ancient textiles were more than mere utilitarian objects; they served as vital forms of communication and embodiments of cultural heritage. Through archaeological finds, museum collections, and scientific analyses, the book uncovers the ingenuity of ancient artisans.
