The Haunting of Olive Atkins

Many years ago, Olive Atkins was a local woman who came face to face with ghosts. Like Mercy, Olive struggled to set things right. Like Mercy, Olive had an unusual ability to connect with the dead. And like Mercy, Olive had an unwelcome guest along for the ride.

Mercy has always believed that she's unique. As she discovers more about Olive's life and death, however, she comes to realize that someone else might have faced the same horrors and demons. And that person's fate serves as a warning for Mercy as she finally starts to remember the truth about her own past.

The Haunting of Olive Atkins is the twelfth and penultimate book in the 13-part Mercy Willow series, about an estate agent in deepest Cornwall who develops the unusual ability to communicate with ghosts. Readers are advised to start at the beginning of the series. This book ends on a cliffhanger.
