“Sometimes it’s safer to stay hidden…” Writing duo Amanda Ashby and Sally Rigby are back with this compelling fast paced twisty psychological thriller that had me flipping the pages long into the night! I was immediately intrigued and hooked by this story. I love stories involving families so this one was right up my alley. The sisters are very complex characters each with secrets that I enjoyed unravelling. Multiple narration and timelines move seamlessly between the two and the hard hitting themes are handled well. (These include suicide, abuse, self harm and addiction which may be triggers for some readers.) The collaboration between the two authors works very well and I found them once again to be completely in sync with each other. They certainly do make a great writing duo and I look forward to reading more from them.

Two sisters and one half sister each have their own secrets. Ashleigh has a big secret from her childhood that only Liam knows. Ashleigh has a drinking problem that stems from abuse by her father. A number of murders, one is Liam and Ashleigh is accused of. She goes on the run to hide. A very surprise ending that I did not see coming.

This is another top class suspense filled thriller from Amanda Ashby & Sally Rigby, writing as Amanda Rigby. The story centres on three women, Ashliegh, Jessica & their half sister Grace, and the secrets the past holds for them all. Ashleigh is targeted by an unknown person that threatens to reveal Ashleigh's darkest secret: that she is responsible for her fathers death. The authors take Ashleigh & the story on many twists & turns along the way before we finally discover the whole truth behind it all. Each woman has their own struggles as Ashleigh goes into hiding. I enjoyed reading this well written book The pacing is great from the start, but it’s the three points of view of each of the women that made it for me. We see how the events, current and in the past, affect each of them and their reactions. The ending was well written & a surprise, even though I feel I should have worked it out! Overall, a great second book from these two authors that I hope won’t be their last together.
