Almost Time
Acerca de este libro electrónico
Eager for maple syrup, Ethan can’t wait till sugaring time rolls around. And he can’t wait till his loose tooth falls out. But his father keeps telling him it’s not time yet, and no matter how hard he tries, he can’t make time pass more quickly. The closeness of father and son is evident throughout as they wait and then celebrate the end of waiting. The brief, lyrical text is illuminated by G. Brian Karas’s beautifully composed, evocative illustrations.
This sweet story shows that some things are always worth the wait.
- A Heartwarming Father-Son Story: Join Ethan and his dad as they share the special tradition of making maple syrup, showing that the best part of waiting is who you wait with.
- A Gentle Introduction to the Seasons: Learn alongside Ethan as he watches for the signs that winter is ending, from warmer days to shorter nights.
- Losing a Tooth: A sweet and relatable subplot about waiting for a loose tooth to finally fall out—a familiar milestone for every child.
- Perfect for Bedtime Reading: With lyrical text and soft, gentle illustrations, this is an ideal story for snuggling up and winding down at the end of the day.
