About this ebook

He was my first crush. My first heartbreak. And now we’re trapped with a hidden threat.

When my brother’s gorgeous best friend rejected me, something inside me died. I tried to move on, but in a town the size of Destiny Falls, avoiding him is practically impossible.

Unfortunately, the years have only made Asher more attractive. I hide my feelings behind sarcasm and snark, but it gets more difficult with every passing day. And then I notice that I’m not the only person watching him. A sinister presence lingers whenever he’s nearby.

Despite the signs, Asher refuses to believe me. But when we end up stranded in a cabin, supposedly alone, even he can’t deny the truth…and he’ll be forced to make a terrible choice.

If you loved the charm of Virgin River and the intrigue of Ginny & Georgia, then WISH YOU WERE MINE is for you.

This is delightful new story in the "Destiny Falls" series. What a great and enjoyable small town romance that is a fairly short and quick read. Asher and Summer get a chance. Asher is her her brother’s best friend and her long time crush. He is torn between loyalty and his attraction to her. This is a good story with wonderful characters. The story has a little suspense and some steamy action with a plot that develops nicely.

Nine years ago, Alexa was determined to finally let her crush know how she felt about him. The first heartbreak is always the worst. When you see him everywhere because it's a small town and he not only works with your brother but he and said brother grew up as best friends. It's the worst. Asher had to put Summer in the best friend's little sister Zone. He'd never thought of her as anything else. That is until she came home from University.

This is Summer and Asher's story. She loves him, but Asher did not return the feelings. Will he ever admit he does care about her? When a threat comes for Asher will he believe her? What will happen when they are stranded together? Will they admit they both love each other?. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

About the author

Alexa Rivers writes about genuine characters living messy, imperfect lives and earning hard-won happily ever afters. Most of her books are set in small towns, and she lives in one of these herself. She shares a house with a neurotic dog and a husband who thinks he’s hilarious.

When she’s not writing, she enjoys traveling, baking, eating too much chocolate, cuddling fluffy animals, drinking excessive amounts of tea, and absorbing herself in fictional worlds.
