The Child of the Night

Blackpine Ridge has always kept secrets.

When twelve-year-old Ethan Miller wanders away from his family's campsite, his parents believe the worst — that the mountains have taken him.

They are half right.

Deep beneath the cliffs, in caves that never see the sun, something older than the trees has been waiting. It heard his footsteps. It followed his voice. And when it found him alone, it decided to keep him.

Now, in the House Beneath the Cliffs, Ethan has a new family. One that teaches him how to hunt in the dark. How to listen to the mountains. How to hunger.

And as search parties comb the forests above, Ethan must make a choice:

Return to the world of the living that left him behind — or belong completely to the night that never will.

THE CHILD OF THE NIGHT is a haunting gothic horror thriller about family, belonging, and the terrifying way love can become a prison.
