About this ebook
In the peaceful Aegean town of Akıncı, the summer vacation of four ten-year-old friends turns into a completely different adventure thanks to an old sailor's legend. Efe, Zeynep, Emir, and Elif follow the story of a great treasure hidden in the Rockies, heard from their wise grandfather.
But this treasure is more than just gold. It's a legacy locked by Captain Dymitrios' Seal, concealing the town's forgotten history and its true riches: Unity, Courage, and Wisdom.
At every step of the adventure, the foursome face challenges that test their intelligence and friendship:
• False Tracks and Mysterious Codes: They must decipher the Wind Codes and K.T.E. (The Heart's Only Virtue) code on a rusty coin they find on the rocks.
• A Formidable Rival: The town notary, Mr. Vural, blinded by ambition, spies on the children's every move and tries every possible way to reach the treasure before anyone else.
• The Secret of the Fifth Gate: The path to the treasure requires solving a geometric puzzle that passes through the Golden Eye Tower, the Pillar of Legacy, and the Diamond Cliffs, but the final gate can only be opened by following the order of virtues.
THE SECRET OF THE CROWDS is the story of how friendship and wisdom triumph over material greed. This foursome will recover not only the gold but also the lost spirit and unity of the town of Akıncı.
Do you think the true treasure lies within the chest, or is it the adventure itself?
