Andrea Kinsey is a learning design specialist and time management researcher with over fifteen years of experience in online education. She holds a Master's degree in Instructional Design from the University of Wisconsin and has designed over forty digital courses for universities, professional certification programs, and corporate training platforms including Coursera, edX, and LinkedIn Learning.
Kinsey's work focuses on the intersection of cognitive science, productivity systems, and adult learning theory. She has published research on attention management in asynchronous learning environments, the impact of flexible deadlines on learner completion rates, and evidence based strategies for reducing burnout among nontraditional students. Her time management framework for online learners has been adopted by three major public university systems.
Before specializing in adult online learning, Kinsey spent a decade as a classroom teacher and curriculum developer in K 12 education, where she first recognized the gap between how students were taught to learn and how they actually learned. This experience shaped her conviction that study skills are not innate they are teachable, learnable, and transformative when taught in context.
