Demi was fourteen, promised to a prince, on the threshold of a life of power and dignity, until the warriors of a neighboring kingdom shattered everything. Her mother killed, her father enslaved in chains, her home burned to ash, her body violated, her future erased.

Wandering broken into a forbidden forest, she stumbled into the chamber of the Great Mother of the Earth, and was recognized as Her reincarnation.

Awakened to her power, Demi chose vengeance. She leveled the kingdom that destroyed her, then walked into the modern world, where a man at a rainy-day eatery in Victoria Island became her unlikely confidant, and eventually, her love. 

But Demi carried a terrible secret: a seventh transformation looming, a gruesome ceremony of violation and death, after which she would be reborn, seven years younger, and Demi still.

Her lover tried to prevent her from going through the sacrificial ceremony, in vain, as the forces that called and propelled her were too powerful. He eventually succeeded in preventing the transformation, using the police, but at the cost of Demi's existence entirely.

Book Two brings Demi back, this time as a man, arriving from an extraterrestrial world to help humanity navigate climate catastrophe and evolve into higher sentient beings. His mission unfolds against a shadow world of psyops, secret agencies, and imprisoned extraterrestrials.

Books Three through Nine trace the soul of Demi across millennia and civilizations; a young man who deflower maidens and having eaten the king’s lately decreed girl was executed; a mother to a prince in jeopardy; a slave-turned-legion in Rome; a regent swallowed into ancient Egypt by the fire of Ra; a sex slave to the Great Khan; a great merchant lord of Han China executed by the hands of treacherous unknown official; the daughter of the Incan sun god Inti who saw to the destruction of empire.

Each lifetime a thread. Each thread pulling toward one destiny, the fourteen-year-old girl, waiting to be married to a prince.

Book Ten is quiet, tender, and brief. Demi lived eleven years with a couple whose woman had always dreamed of her coming, raised and cherished until she was ready. Then, as she arrived, she left: rising as a great bird into the sky.
