This is the best version, why? because it's the unabridged version. I'd wasted my money on the other one and didn't know at all until now that it was shortened. This version has supposedly all the stories. Even though I missed the other voice actor.

I thought this would fun for my kids, but these stories were absolutely terrible! neither scary, nor entertaining.

I've LOVED this series since I first read 1 & 2 in 1987. So I came for the history and some nostalgia. But... I seriously wish ol' Patton Oswald here could've emoted just a bit more. It felt like he was making it LESS dramatic and scary here, as he reads... Was HE a fan?? I'm thinkin' maybe not. Sorry Kiddies.... Better to read it in Physical form. Not all bad though, it's still 75% fun.
