Murders in Magazines

By Tom Kropp

During 2025, Horror Zine, Freedom Fiction Journal, Short-Story Me, Churches, Children and Daddies, Down in the Dirt, Dark Harbor and Flash Phantoms magazines published my twenty short stories included in this book.

Be warned, these are all violent, action-packed, gritty, crime and horror stories with some explicit sexual content.

I am including these exactly as they were sent to the magazines, so readers can see how my submissions looked when the magazine editors read and accepted them. My stories all received great reviews by the magazines’ readers and many of my stories were republished as a result.

I personally enjoy reading and writing short stories more than I do full length novels. I know there’s many of you out there that feel the same way. This book is for you.

Tom Kropp’s work has appeared in Chiron Review, Churches, Children and Daddies, Down in the Dirt, The Horror Zine, Freedom Fiction Short-Story Me, Dark Harbor Magazine, Blood Moon Rising, Flash Phantoms, Phantomania, Lowlife Lit, The Listening Eye, J Journal, Evening Street Review, Conceit, Spotlight on Recovery, Muscle and Fitness, Outdoor Life and many other magazines. His play Jailhouse Confessions was performed at the Kennedy center in Washington, DC in 2019. You can find more of his writings at tomkropp.wordpress.com. He has many fantasy novels published.
