Introducing Gertrude, Gumshoe
About this audiobook
“Gertrude’s inept doggedness will entertain readers who don’t take their mysteries too seriously.” –Publishers Weekly
If Miss Marple had 27 cats, a Maine accent, and absolutely no filter …
With her blunt New England honesty, Gertrude rubs some people the wrong way. Still, the folks who know her best wouldn’t trade her for anything.
Unfortunately for them, Gertrude has recently discovered a new hobby: snooping.
When one of her beloved cats disappears, Gertrude goes looking—and quickly realizes a neighbor has vanished too. The more questions she asks, the more the town wishes she’d stop. Before long she’s knee-deep in secrets, suspicious townsfolk, and a mystery no one else seems eager to solve.
Gertrude may not be subtle, and her investigative methods raise more than a few eyebrows, but she does have one advantage: she’s absolutely impossible to intimidate.
Join this sharp-tongued Maine senior as she blunders into danger, stirs up trouble, and somehow manages to uncover the truth along the way.
