About this audiobook

Here is a thrilling, uplifting story of true-life heroism unequaled since the publication of Anne Frank’s diary—a story that the young must hear and their elders must remember. Take Alicia’s hand—and follow.

This story left me wondering how such a beautiful soul could possibly emerge after such unspeakable atrocities. A true testament to the capacity for good and evil within the human race. Thanks to Alicia for having the courage to record her experiences, especially for her children, as well for the world to remember. Mission accomplished Alicia!
