Ava's Dream

Ava is an 11-year-old girl with a heart full of compassion and a dream for justice. When her blind friend, Sofia Jo, is denied entry to the town's new park because of a "No Dogs Allowed" rule that excludes her seeing-eye dog, Ava embarks on a journey to change the law. Guided by her wise and supportive grandfather, Ava learns about the three branches of government, the U.S. Constitution, and the power of perseverance.

Ava's Dream introduces young readers to the principles of equality, civic duty, and problem-solving through a heartfelt narrative. Set in 1953, the story blends history, education, and the universal values of empathy and fairness. This inspiring tale not only entertains but empowers kids to understand their rights and the impact of laws in their lives.

Perfect for parents, educators, and young readers who are curious about justice, democracy, and standing up for what’s right, Ava's Dream is more than a story—it's a lesson in hope and determination.
