The Yada Yada Prayer Group: A Found Family Story Centering on the Lives of Five Women

From award-winning author Neta Jackson comes a heartfelt and deeply relatable story about the unexpected ways God brings people together--and how faith can transform even the most unlikely friendships. In The Yada Yada Prayer Group, Jackson delivers a powerful, character-driven novel that celebrates community, grace, and the beauty of doing life together.

Jodi Baxter would be the first to admit she's not exactly the "join a group of strangers" type. So when she reluctantly attends the Chicago Women's Conference, the last thing she expects is to walk away with a circle of women who couldn't be more different from her--or more essential to her life. An ex-con, a recovering addict, a high-powered real estate broker, a college student, and a busy mom don't seem to have much in common. But when they're thrown together and decide to start a prayer group, something extraordinary begins to take shape.

As the women meet week after week, their differences give way to deep bonds of honesty, vulnerability, and faith. And when Jodi faces the greatest crisis of her life, it's this unlikely sisterhood that shows her what it truly means to lean on God--and on each other.

The Yada Yada Prayer Group is a moving reminder that friendship doesn't require perfection--just a willingness to show up. The Yada Yada Prayer Group is the first book in the Yada Yada series known for its humorous and honest portrayal of modern-day Christians navigating difficult situations.
