About this audiobook

Knives Out and Clue meet Agatha Christie and The Thursday Murder Club in this “utterly original” (Jane Harper), “not to be missed” (Karin Slaughter), fiendishly clever blend of classic and modern murder mystery.

“A witty twist on classic whodunits... Stevenson not only 'plays fair,' he plays the mystery game very, very well.” -- Maureen Corrigan, Washington Post

Everyone in my family has killed someone. Some of us, the high achievers, have killed more than once. I’m not trying to be dramatic, but it is the truth. Some of us are good, others are bad, and some just unfortunate.

I’m Ernest Cunningham. Call me Ern or Ernie. I wish I’d killed whoever decided our family reunion should be at a ski resort, but it’s a little more complicated than that.

Have I killed someone? Yes. I have.

Who was it?

Let’s get started.

I loved this book! I especially loved listening to the narrator. I kept getting surprised, didn't see anything coming, I just couldn't put it down. Now I am going to get the other two.

I was set to rate this one a solid 4- not for the story itself, but the narration. Then I figured out it was my phone making it go so fast I couldn't grasp what was going on. (So embarrassing) Once I realized that was the issue, I started it back from the beginning, and I was hooked. Oh. My. Goodness! I absolutely love how this is written and the storyline is amazing! Every time I thought I knew for sure who the killer was, I was wrong. Even if they are all killers, they didn't kill the ones that were killed. Must read/listen. I did the audiobook, clearly, and have zero regrets! Matter of fact, I'm about to go purchase the second one!

Following through a murder mystery through the honest mind of a guy who writes books for those who want to learn how to write mystery stories. Enjoyable, only took a few minutes to get used to the pace and mild accent of the narrator.
