The Uncomfortable Questions is not a history book. It is not a political book. It is not a book that tells you what to think.
It is a book that asks you to think.
Through twelve powerful reflections, author Mitchell Ball invites readers to explore the questions many of us avoid. Why do we follow the crowd? When does silence become a choice? What role does fear play in our decisions? How do we know what is true? And perhaps the most difficult question of all...
What would I have done?
Using history, personal experiences, and thoughtful reflection as a mirror, this book encourages readers to examine not only the past, but themselves. It challenges us to consider courage, conscience, compassion, and the responsibility each generation carries when faced with injustice.
Rather than providing easy answers, The Uncomfortable Questions invites you into an honest conversation—one that continues long after you close the book.
If you enjoy books that inspire meaningful discussion, challenge assumptions, and encourage personal reflection, this book will stay with you long after the final page.
Some questions change history.
The most important ones may change you.
