The God Log: Cats & Dogs

The God Log: Cats & Dogs

by Steve Hutchison

What if cats and dogs were never just pets —

but survival codes disguised as companions?

This is not sentiment.

This is not folklore.

This is structure written in fur and instinct.

Every culture paints them as friends.

Every myth crowns them divine.

Every movie reduces them to loyalty or mystery,

so no one sees the signal they truly carry.

In this volume, I strip away the theater —

and reveal cats and dogs as survival witnesses,

loneliness surrogates disguised as love,

two lineages obeying God’s priorities without fracture.

What if dogs never served man,

but rewired themselves to belong to our packs?

What if cats never chose devotion,

but sanctified our homes as territory?

There are no fairy tales in their eyes.

No masks, no lies, no counterfeit affection.

Only the chance to see coherence alive,

or mistake it for comfort and dismiss it.

If you’ve ever wept more for a dog’s death than a stranger’s,

if you’ve wondered why loneliness makes pets sacred,

this is where you face cats and dogs without disguise,

and recognize the law they have carried since the beginning.
