Lady Rample Steps Out: A 1930s Historical Cozy Mystery

When Lady Rample steps out, murder steps in.

Ophelia, Lady Rample has money, freedom, a place in high society, and a fabulous wardrobe. What she doesn't have is excitement. That is, until she stumbles upon a murder at London's most exclusive jazz club. When the dismissive police investigator tells her to mind her own business, Ophelia decides to do exactly the opposite: turn from aristocratic lady to lady detective.

Armed with her wit, her best friend, and her indomitable (and somewhat kooky) aunt, Ophelia plunges into London's glittering underworld of speakeasies and secrets. Between dodging danger, mixing the perfect highball, and trying not to fall for a devastatingly handsome jazz pianist, she uncovers a twisted plot involving blackmail, embezzlement, and a victim no one seems to mourn.

But when the killer strikes again, Ophelia realizes she's in over her head. With false confessions, forged evidence, and a growing list of suspects, can this amateur sleuth crack the case before she becomes the next victim?

In 1930s London, murder is a deadly business, and Lady Rample is determined to solve it in style.
