Moonlight Murder Mystery Club: A Bitter Taste Book 1 of 5

Some mornings start with coffee. Sage Holloway's started with a corpse.

When Sage Holloway trades her corporate food science career for a fresh start in the seaside town of Crescent Harbor, she expects flour-dusted mornings, loyal regulars, and the simple satisfaction of baking something real.

She doesn't expect a body.

When Crescent Harbor's most hated developer drops dead, police zero in on the obvious suspect — Sage's employee, a single mom whose very public, very angry threat against the man now looks an awful lot like motive. But Sage knows her. And Sage knows better.

Armed with a baker's instincts, a food scientist's eye for detail, and Shadow — her sleek black cat with ancient golden eyes who always seems to know exactly what's happening — Sage starts pulling at threads that powerful people would rather stayed buried.

Strange sediment in a coffee cup. A cottage garden full of beautiful deadly flowers. A silver-haired woman who knows far too much and offers help far too easily.

In Crescent Harbor, the scones are fresh, the secrets run deep, and some things were buried for a very good reason.

She just wanted to bake. Now she has to find a killer before someone decides she knows too much.

A Bitter Taste is Book 1 of 5 in the complete Moonlight Murder Mystery Club series — a cozy mystery series featuring baker-sleuth Sage Holloway and her clever cat Shadow. All five books available now on Amazon and major retailers.

Perfect for fans of Joanne Fluke, Laura Childs, and Ellie Alexander.
