Homosexuality isn't spontaneous. In the earlier books Valkyrie is a normal heterosexual female with a healthy attraction to boys and then all of a sudden in this book shes a lesbian. That's not how it works trust me. Derek Landy obviously touched the panderstone or got bad advice. Book moved away from Ireland and landed in America another stumble for this book. Ireland is magical, America is boring, I live here I know. Definitely not enough Skullduggery Pleasant and way to much of broody, sulky, unpleasant Valkyrie Kane. I can't reccomend this book it will ruin all the books before it.
