Faced with directing her grandmother’s Christmas play as Nan’s memory fades, Mallory reconnects with high school crush Hollis, who’s determined to prove he’s changed. This sweet, heartwarming novel is full of Christmas spirit. The interweaving of Nan’s history into the present-day narrative was poignant but also hopeful. Mallory and Hollis are a solid couple, and it’s lovely to see how they grow together. I enjoyed the audiobook narration. Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received.
