I listened to "Black Girl You Are Atlas" by Renée Watson, Narrated by Author via Audiobook. I loved the poems describing Renée Watson's life and telling young Black Girls to be proud of who they are. I laughed when I heard Blue Magic (twice) and Royal Crown Hair Grease. Brought up childhood memories. My favorite poems were Altars, Love Shows Up, When I Say Love Us, A Pantoum for Breonna Taylor, and Phenomenon. Now that I've read this via Audiobook, I'm going to purchase the book. I'm sure the illustrations by Ekua Holmes are amazing!
