About this audiobook
ENGLISH Published for the first time in 1865, The Crocodile tells the story of Ivan Matveich, a public servant who is devoured by a crocodile on a visit to an amusement park while his wife and best friend watch on in astonishment.
However, the man doesn’t die—quite the contrary. He settles in comfortably inside the animal, and from there initiates a series of conversations and speeches that reveal his ineptitude, opportunism and greed.
