COMFREY, WYOMING: Black Sheep, Black Sheep
About this audiobook
In Black Sheep, Black Sheep, Book Four of the COMFREY, WYOMING series, multiple storylines converge in a tale of fierce family bonds—both forged and tested.
After hearing her father’s estranged brother referred to as a black sheep, young Melissa McNabb declares her neurological differences make her one too. The discovery of a deed to fifteen acres down the road from her uncle’s property draws her to Comfrey, where her arrival unsettles Arapaho deputy sheriff, Amadeus Crow.
Accompanied by a guinea pig rescued from a restaurant in Peru, Melissa joins other characters new to the series: a lawyer seeking a home where she and her dog can breathe free, a young girl hoping the father she has never met will provide sanctuary for herself and a Basset Hound destined for euthanasia, and a young man with Down Syndrome who paints the animals that reveal themselves to him in the peeling paint and shadows of the airport’s office wall.
