ROUGH JUSTICE

A Modern Western Noir Crime Thriller

In the unforgiving Texas Caprock, vengeance isn't just a promise. It's a blood debt.

Disgraced former lawman Mercer Sample knows the West Texas wasteland. He knows the heat, the silence, and the predators that use it to hide. But right now, he isn't looking for redemption. He's tracking the deep treads of three armored Suburbans carrying two kidnapped children toward a high-dollar cartel auction block.

Leading the heavily armed convoy is Chato, a psychopathic Sinaloa splinter-cell boss determined to carve a brutal new empire out of the dust. He leaves a trail of slaughtered rivals and poisoned wells in his wake. But Chato made one fatal mistake: he left a witness breathing.

Enter Kano. An elite local tracker and former Tier 1 operator, Kano was tortured, mutilated, and left for dead by Chato’s executioners. Now, armed with nothing but a stolen Glock, a jagged piece of bottle glass, and a thirst for absolute destruction, Kano joins Sample on a relentless suicide mission into the ultimate cellular dead zone.

Outgunned and outmanned, Sample and Kano must push supercharged trucks to their melting points to close the gap. From long-range sniper duels in limestone canyons to a chaotic, strobe-lit firefight inside a blinding haboob, the pursuit pushes both men to the absolute limits of human endurance.

As the chase terminates atop a sheer, eight-hundred-foot mesa known as the Anvil, modern tactical warfare collides with primal, cold-blooded wrath.

Rough Justice is a gritty, action-packed neo-western noir perfect for fans of Elmore Leonard, John D. MacDonald, and Cormac McCarthy. Packed with tactical realism, snappy dialogue, and relentless suspense, this hardboiled crime thriller proves that sometimes, the only way to catch the devil is to become a ghost.
