Death by the Thames: a totally addictive cosy mystery series
About this audiobook
Some secrets hide in plain sight. Others are stolen in the dead of night...
Flora Maguire has everything she could wish for—a beautiful Belgravia home, a devoted husband, and baby Arthur to dote on. But her perfect world is shattered when she accepts an invitation to tour St Philomena’s Children’s Hospital in poverty-stricken Southwark.
The conditions are appalling, but the real horror lies in a chilling discovery: children are vanishing from the hospital. With the police indifferent and the hospital’s reputation on the line, Flora joins forces with Alice Finch, the formidable matron, to uncover the truth.
Plunged into the treacherous underworld of Edwardian London, Flora must race against time to save the missing children before they’re lost forever. But in a world where wealth determines worth, can Flora beat the clock—or are the fates of these children sealed by the very society that failed them?
