Under the Same Umbrella

Kristine Whitaker never expects a simple act of kindness outside the library at King’s College London to matter. On a rainy evening, she gives her umbrella to two strangers and runs back to her dorm soaked, without even learning their names.

Weeks later, Kristine is dealing with the end of her relationship with Edward and trying to settle back into university life with her friends Emily, Sophia, and Clara. Yet she cannot forget the mysterious stranger who later appeared during another difficult night and sheltered her from the rain.

That stranger is Martin Walton, a confident history student who has been searching for the girl who gave him her umbrella. What begins with missed encounters, notes on bulletin boards, library visits, and persistent curiosity gradually develops into something neither of them can dismiss.

Under the Same Umbrella is a warm university romance about heartbreak, kindness, friendship, new beginnings, and the unexpected ways two people can find each other when the timing finally feels right.
