FROM MUHAMMAD TO TODAY

His Children, Grandchildren, and the Living Legacy of Prophetic Descent

What happened to the family of the Prophet Muhammad after his death—and why does their legacy still shape the Muslim world today?

From Muhammad to Today takes readers on a compelling historical journey beyond the familiar story of prophecy and revelation, into the lives of Muhammad’s children, grandchildren, and descendants. Drawing on early Islamic sources, historical records, and scholarly analysis, this book explores how prophetic lineage influenced politics, theology, power struggles, and identity across centuries.

From the tragedies surrounding Fatimah, Hasan, and Husayn, to the rise of dynasties claiming descent from the Prophet, and the modern relevance of the Ahl al-Bayt in contemporary Islam, this work reveals how bloodline, authority, and memory became inseparable from faith itself.

Written for curious readers, students of history, and anyone seeking a deeper understanding of Islam beyond doctrine, this book challenges simplified narratives and invites you to see how one family’s story became a living legacy—still shaping beliefs, loyalties, and conflicts today.

If you want to understand Islam not only as a religion, but as a continuing historical force rooted in family, power, and remembrance, this book is an essential read.
