About this audiobook

They thought they left a broken man in the dirt. They didn't realize they had just fired a weapon.

Elias Thorne is a ghost. Three years ago, his Navy SEAL team was fed to a cartel ambush in the mountains of Afghanistan by their own corrupt CIA handler. Elias was the sole survivor. He buried his name, buried his past, and carved out a quiet, off-the-grid life in the unforgiving Texas outback with the woman he loves, Sarah.

But ghosts don't stay buried forever.

When a heavily armed cartel strike team descends on their isolated cabin, Elias knows immediately that it isn't a random hit. His old handler is finally tying up loose ends. Left bleeding out in the dust, Elias watches helplessly as Sarah is dragged across the border into the lawless heart of Mexico to be used as leverage.

The local law won't help him. The federal government is too slow.

Running on borrowed time and fueled by pure adrenaline, Elias retrieves a hidden cache of military-grade weaponry and crosses the Rio Grande alone. He isn't looking for a negotiation. He isn't looking for justice. He is a Tier 1 shadow, tearing through a sprawling criminal empire on a relentless, one-way trajectory to get his future wife back.

From the scorching desert slot canyons to the opulent, heavily fortified compound of a ruthless cartel kingpin known as "El Muro," Elias will prove that some men cannot be broken.

Some men cannot be stopped.

The Last Bullet is a gritty, high-octane thriller packed with authentic tactical action, relentless pacing, and a desperate fight for survival that will leave you breathless.
