About this audiobook

Tuna knew that each new day was the greatest reward given to her. She decided to take a step towards understanding life and herself. She was trying to resolve the questions in her mind: Who are you, where did you come from, where are you going? Who gave you everything you needed for your life in this world, and why? She woke up to a new day with these thoughts.

Tuna felt as though he were carrying the weight of the entire world on his narrow shoulders. Every morning, he woke up to the deafening roar of modern life, unable to find a single moment of true silence within himself.

Seeking an escape from the mental noise, Tuna wandered into a quiet, sun-drenched garden where he met a man named Arif. Arif sat with a stillness that Tuna envied. When Tuna confessed his feelings of fragmentation and the exhaustion of trying to manage a thousand different worries, Arif listened with a gentle, knowing smile. "Tuna," Arif said softly, "you are like a soldier who thinks he has a hundred different generals. Imagine a single soldier caught in the middle of a field, surrounded by a hundred commanders. One shouts 'charge!' , another yells 'retreat!' , and a third commands 'stand still!' What would become of that poor man?"

Tuna closed his eyes and saw the image clearly: a lone soldier, pale and trembling, spinning in circles. The soldier's face was a mask of pure agony and confusion, paralyzed by the conflicting demands of dozens of voices. It was the perfect mirror of Tuna's own soul, exhausted by the perceived power of a thousand different worldly causes.

"But," Arif continued, his voice steadying Tuna's heart, "how easy is the life of that same soldier if he has only one commander? Even if there were a hundred soldiers, having just one leader makes everything simple. The path is clear, the order is one, and the duty is defined. Unity brings ease; multiplicity brings only hardship." . Tuna realized that he had been giving power to "causes" that had no power of their own. The boss, the money, the luck—they were all just officials in the service of the One. He saw that by turning to the Creator of all causes, he could bypass the chaos of the crowd and find the simplicity of the One.

As Tuna embraced the belief in Oneness—Tawhid—the thousand "generals" in his mind vanished. He didn't need to please the world; he only needed to be sincere to the One who sustained the world.

Tuna walked back into the city, but the city no longer owned him.. The noise was still there, but his heart was a fortress of silence. He had finally learned that the secret to a peaceful life wasn't in managing the many, but in surrendering to the One.

Accepting the oneness of God makes everything easier, makes everything meaningful..

Through knowing a single Creator, all spirits and hearts are delivered from the distress and confusion arising from misguidance, and from the spiritual pains arising from distress.

They are saved by attributing all beings to a single Maker. They find assurance through the remembrance of a single God.
