Before Us, There Is Him: How Putting God First Restores Your Heart and Every Relationship

Before you try to fix “us,” you have to start with Him.

In Before Us, There Is Him, pastor Sam Hinn invites you into a honest, hope-filled journey of healing your relationships by first returning to your relationship with God. Drawing from his own story of failure, restoration, and fresh grace, Sam shows how Jesus meets you in the middle of your relational pain—not with condemnation, but with new mercies and a new way to live.

Through biblical insight, real-life stories, and practical guidance, you will discover:

Why your identity in Christ must be healed before your relationships can be

How to reach for Jesus when you feel stuck, exhausted, or out of options

How family dynamics, conflict, and even your “limp” can become places of God’s rescue

Simple daily rhythms to bring the Holy Spirit into your conversations and decisions

How to break old patterns and let God write new chapters with the same people

This is not a book from a relationship “expert,” but from a shepherd who has walked through the fire and found Jesus faithful. If you’re tired of trying to fix everyone else, and you’re ready to let God start with your heart, this book will help you see every relationship through a new lens:

Before us, there is Him.
