Just for the Summer

I listened to the audiobook version of "Part of this World" by Abby Jimenez, narrator by Julia Whelan & Zachary Webber. Then "Yours Truly" by Abby Jimenez, narrator by Kyla Garcia & Zachary Webber. I concluded with "Just for the Summer" by Abby Jimenez, narrator by Christine Lakin & Zachary Webber. I loved Emma & Justin story. How they both had issues with their Mothers that brought them closer together. I loved how Emma didn't want to pass her feelings to Justin's siblings. She knew she had issues and did not want to bring anyone down. When I got to chapter 40 and it was revealed how everyone was connected it just blew my mind. I wrote down how everyone was connected: April, Neil, Amber, Daniel, Emma, Justin, Benny, Briana. I just loved that I read the books in order and how everyone is connected. In addition, I love that author Abby Jimenez wrote about issues that people are going through all the time. I'm glad Emma got counseling & I love how Justin proposed. Great story.

This book had me laughing so hard. Chapter 19 was my absolute favorite. I bookmarked it just so I could play it for my domestic partner and cry laugh through it a second time. The story touches on some serious mental health issues and was done very well. My eldest daughter recommended this one as she was reading it on ebook version. I did the audio book because I listen to them during work commute and when I can get by with it, at work. I couldn't stop! Looking very forward to another book!

It's captivating from start to finish. It's very funny and touching. I got sucked into the world like I was a part of it all🥰 Oh and great job on the audiobook!
