Jack London: The Collection

This is outstanding VFM(value for money) in today's world. Yes, the narration could be better - but if you Need better quality, then you'll Need to spend a whole heck of a lot more money! However, if your a longtime fan, like myself, this will sit alongside other books and audiobooks you already have. But if you've not read any Jack London stories, beyond "Call of the wild" or "White Fang", these will entice you to read more - or listen to more, which a lot of folks are doing now on long commutes to alleviate the boredom! As for myself, I can't physically hold books or Tablets anymore, due to Arthritis in my wrists & hands, especially the fingers. That's why I'm so grateful to be able to buy these type of recordings at such great prices. Trust me, you need A Lot of "disposable income" if you want Higher Quality recordings, and with owning various paperback, hardback & Special Editions of JL, so I'd find it hard to justify to my BH.! So I use this for relaxation therapy. 🤗Bliss!

What a bargain! I have never heard of most of these stories but am mostly enjoying the tales. It is obvious London was pro-socialist and an evolutionist. He tends to want to show his knowledge (Martin Eden) which draws the stories out a bit, but overall, a creative writer that I'm pleased to discover.

Stories are great. Some of the recordings are hard to hear.
