Silence on the Turf: A quick-read police procedural set in picturesque Canada
About this audiobook
A packed stadium. A quiet parking lot. One death no one can agree on.
Detective Margie Patenaude expected an ordinary evening at Shouldice Park with her daughter. Instead, she walks into a scene that pulls her from spectator to investigator in seconds.
Everyone has a theory. Everyone has a favorite suspect. And everyone seems to know exactly what happened before the evidence is in. As Margie and her team push past rumor and performance, they uncover a case where appearances are polished, motives are messy, and the truth keeps slipping out of reach.
With community pressure rising and the media closing in, Margie has to move fast, stay precise, and keep the people she loves out of the blast zone.
