Goblins in the Castle

One cold and snowy night the Baron discovered a blanket-wrapped baby on the drawbridge of Toad-in-a-Cage Castle. He took the child in, and William has lived in the castle ever since, with only the Baron, his housekeeper Hulda, and the librarian Karl for company. It’s a lonely life for the boy, until he discovers a secret stairway that winds down to the dungeon, and meets the weird creature named Igor who lives there.

But even Igor does not know the source of the mysterious noises that bother William at night – strange and sorrowful moans that drift through the halls of the castle where he was raised. William wants to know what causes them. Then one night he finds the answer, which launches him into a wild and wacky adventure stranger than he could have imagined.

A deft mix of humor and spookiness, Goblins in the Castle has enchanted young readers (and their parents and teachers!) for over three decades. Now it is finally available on audio, read by a full cast and featuring Igor as himself!
