Vampire Hunter D: Volume 1

this book was written in the early 1980's and it SHOWS. The women especially are really badly written, not necessarily for how they act, but for everything that surrounds them and how the men treat them.

it's wonderful this fantastic comic has an audio version. this series is knew for it's great world building & marvelous cast of characters. From the men too the women. Each with their own distinct well written personalities. Each one feels different. They're not just copy, paste, & forgettable. Some female characters have a liberal vibe as some are more conservative. The same for the male characters. The mixture of action, horror, & sci-fi all bundled up in this perfect gaze of western cowboy vibes..it's delicious. it would be a dishonor; if I bought my own personal political views about a product. this isn't a political book. but no one was mistreated badly (if you're sensitive too sexist or bigotry in media.) Everyone was well written. I read this back in the day. And I am please great the audiobook version is on the market. I can stay enough; this is a fantastic book & if you like the movie...you will love this book.

I highly recommend this book for Scifi and Horror readers
