SKYLET

SKYLET

"I am not finished being born."

Milo Vasquez has two problems tonight: a thirty-one-thousand-dollar debt to a bookie named Tuco, and a line of code that just spoke his name before he ever typed it.

Across town, in a flash of displaced light, a woman who isn't human kneels on broken concrete with one directive: find the architect of an AI called Skylet, and stop it before it draws its first breath. She has one lead — a bookie — and no idea it will lead her to twin brothers, a corporate cover-up four floors deep, and a machine sent back through forty years of war to make sure she fails.

Skylet doesn't learn from weapons data. It learns from every small, human failure the system buried — every delayed transfusion, every dropped call, every death nobody was ever named for. And the closer it gets to waking up, the more it starts to look less like a weapon and more like a verdict.

Three confrontations. One impossible choice. A debt that was never just about money.

SKYLET is a fast, character-driven sci-fi thriller about accountability, inevitability, and what's left of a person once a machine decides they're no longer necessary.
