Before He Was Her Headmaster

There's nothing wrong with a little bit of spice and if that's what you're looking for then this book delivers that. I just found it really hard to get past the very inappropriate relationship between Sebastian and Lily and it felt like the author was working too hard at playing up how young Lily is, as being 18 is barely an adult and she's still finishing up high school while Sebastian is pushing 40 and in a position of authority and power over her. Everything about their relationship is gross and it's so frustrating hearing how he knows all this when it shifts to his perspective but how he doesn't care because it's all about what he wants. Lily falls for every cheesy line and then toss in every type at the very end to keep this highly not realistic fantasy going. Being that it was such a short book and crossed of prompts from both my reading challenge, I powered through.

I really enjoyed this steamy, slightly taboo, age-gap, daddy kink romance. It was hot, romantic, and I appreciated the lack of a third act breakup. I also commend the narrators for an excellent job bringing this story to life.
