Devour the Sky

The storm chooses Seren Virelle—and the gods demand she die for it.

Branded by thunder since birth, Seren is dragged toward the Offering that keeps her city alive…and keeps everyone obedient. But when she refuses to kneel, the sky answers. Lightning wakes beneath her skin, and the world’s “peace” starts to crack.

Then a stranger falls from the clouds.

Kael bleeds silver, his ruined wing still carrying heat. He claims he once served the so-called gods—until he learned the truth: the Offering isn’t salvation. It’s a leash.

To end the sacrifices, Seren must become what the priests fear most: a stormbearer who can command the sky. To survive, she must trust the fallen general who carries his own curse—and whose touch makes her power surge like a promise.

Hunted by sky-hunters and divine loyalists, chased through ashlands and lightning-scarred spires, Seren and Kael race for relics that can shatter heaven’s Vault…before the heavens decide to erase them both.

A sweeping romantasy of rebellion, elemental magic, and a love forged in storm and flame.
