Murder at the Palace: A BRAND NEW delightfully deadly cozy mystery from Frances Evesham for 2026

Have you missed super-sleuths Max and Libby?
This time they are in the beautiful historic cathedral city of Wells in Somerset solving their latest whodunnit.

When Libby Forest and her husband Max accidentally gatecrash a house-warming party at Priory Manor, the Somerset home of Major Chalfont-Smythe and his wife Dawn, they discover an odd mix of local characters.

Why has the new owner, a retired army major, invited this peculiar combination of family, old friends and new neighbours to the party?

When one of the partygoers unexpectedly dies at one of Somerset’s loveliest beauty spots, Libby finds her murder antennae quivering insistently.

Who has a motive and are more murders planned?
Can Libby and Max uncover the secrets behind the crime?
