Clickbait: A Grumpy Sunshine Sapphic Romance

She plays to win. She plays for likes. When their worlds collide, the glitch might be exactly what they need.

Lena "Rook" Kovan doesn't do "fun." She does frame-perfect inputs, world records, and isolation. As the most respected speedrunner in the Phantom Protocol community, she’s built a fortress of stoicism around herself. Her only rule? Don't get distracted. Especially not by bubbly, pink-haired "content creators" who value engagement over skill.

Sarah "Cherry LaRue" is the internet's sweetheart. A variety streamer with a legion of fans and a smile that lights up the front page, she knows her brand is a performance. But beneath the ring lights and cat-ear headsets, she’s desperate for something real. When a public clash with the icy speedrunner goes viral, the internet demands a showdown.

The Setup: A "Fake Feud" to drive views at StreamCon. The Glitch: A double-booked hotel suite and only one bed.

Forced into proximity with the woman she’s supposed to hate, Lena discovers that Cherry’s airhead persona masks a sharp wit and a gentle heart. And Sarah finds that beneath Rook’s prickly defense is a woman who makes her want to stop performing and start living.

But when a dangerous stalker moves from the chat logs to the real world, the game changes. With the safety of their offline lives at risk, Lena and Sarah must decide if their chemistry is just for the cameras, or if the connection they’ve forged is the only thing worth fighting for.

Click Bait is a steamy, enemies-to-lovers F/F romance featuring the grumpy/sunshine dynamic, forced proximity, and a high-stakes gamer setting.
